February Flowers Day 3 Echinacea 8.5x11 inch original painting

I’ve decided to paint a different type of flower each day for the month of February!

You probably know by now that I loveeee flowers so this will be a perfect way to share some of that love with you. 

Day 3 features some whimsical echinacea in lovely and vibrant colors. 

This original painting was created with watercolor and acrylic paint (and lots of layers of love love!) on 8.5x11 inch (140lb cold-pressed) watercolor paper. Sealed with semi-gloss varnish for extra protection. 

Would look great framed! (As shown in second photo...frame is not included with purchase). 

The third photo shows a snippet of this piece while it was still a work in progress...always building up lots of layers to create the final piece!
