I wanted to share this blog post with you in order to feature my newest painting collection available today! Just in time to ship for Mother's Day, by the way!
This collection is filled with 18 original paintings. They're all created with so much love and acrylic paint on 4x4 inch canvases. These canvases have thick 1.5 inch sides so they can easily stand on their own. The sides have been painted as well to match the style of each painting.
What's extra special about these paintings is that the inspirational quotes have been written on deckle edge watercolor paper and then stitched onto each canvas with embroidery thread. I just love the embroidery thread accents on each painting. They add just the right amount of texture and little different pop of color! The quotes were written in waterproof ink and each painting has been protected with a semigloss spray varnish.
I'm so thankful that my wonderful mom came over to our house for a little photo shoot of these paintings. Normally for our photo shoots, we go to different locations around town but with the current stay at home orders it was best to do this in our own backyard. We had a lot of fun with this, as always, but had to hurry before a storm rolled in! It was also fun to wear jeans and some mascara for the first time in over a month...quarantine life has me living in leggings! haha
