AmericasMart Atlanta Trip Recap!

AmericasMart Atlanta Trip Recap!

I just arrived home from an amazing trip to AmericasMart in Atlanta, Georgia and I thought it would be fun to share the highlights here with you!

In case you've never heard of it, here's a little blurb from the AmericasMart website to help you better understand this major event: "A community of influencers, retail experts, store owners, designers, media and manufacturers for an array of educational seminars, demos, industry networking events, tastemaker parties and more." Attending this massive market was such an amazing learning experience, especially as I enter into the licensing world!

A few highlights from my experience?

-Meeting my incredible new licensing agents from MHS in person! Such an honor to learn from them, get to know them, walk the show together, and enjoy dinner with some the team, too. I couldn't be more thankful to have a such awesome agents taking care of my artwork in this new way! I'm so excited to be on this journey with MHS Licensing.

-Meeting some inspiring artists! We've chatted lots on Instagram, but what an honor to meet in real life! These ladies are simply amazing!

Jessi from EttaVee

Emily Wood from Jetty Home

Deane Beesley from Deane Beesley Designs

Amylee Weeks from Uncommon Faith

and Avery from Avery's Home

-Meeting my partners from P Graham Dunn in person as well! Did you know I'm an influencer for their amazing company? I love sharing their craft decor projects with you all via my blog and social media and they have been so amazing to work with. Meeting them in person was a blast! They even personalized a journal and pop socket for me with their custom laser engraver. What a cool experience! I'll have to share more via my next DIY blog post, too!

-Meeting the owner of GreenBox Art and Culture, one of my licensing partners. Their showroom was absolutely stunning and it's an honor to work with them, too!

-Another highlight? Learning SO much about these industries! There's a whole lot that goes into the products that you find in stores. I had no idea, and still feel like I only understand a small portion of what goes on. Always thankful to learn!

-And of course a major highlight was experiencing this trip with my fabulous mom! I couldn't be more thankful to have her incredible support and to share this trip with her. She's always up for an adventure and is just the absolute best. Thank you times a million, mama dear!

I hope you've enjoyed these snippets from our time at AmericasMart. I already can't wait to go back! I hope to continue sharing more and am so thankful for your support of my creative journey!

P.S. I've never ridden on so many escalators in my entire life. Wow! haha :) These buildings were massive!

Oh, and I found my artwork featured in a gift magazine already, so cool!

Can’t wait to share more licensing updates in the future!
