February Flowers Day 22 Garden Rose 8.5x11 inch original painting

I’ve decided to paint a different type of flower each day for the month of February!

You probably know by now that I loveeee flowers so this will be a perfect way to share some of that love with you. 

Day 22 features some whimsical and lovely garden roses!

This original painting was created with watercolor and acrylic paint (and lots of layers of love love!) on 8.5x11 inch (140lb cold-pressed) watercolor paper. Sealed with semi-gloss varnish for extra protection. 

The last photo shows a snippet of this piece while it was still a work in progress...always building up lots of layers to create the final piece!
